Hands-On Experience.
Built On Integrity.
Idaho Building Pros was built around hands-on construction experience, a commitment to doing things the right way, and a belief that building a home deserves personal responsibility from beginning to end.
I've Always Been A Builder.
For much of my life, building hasn't meant houses.
It has meant building people, developing teams, and building businesses that continue to grow and succeed.
Over time, I realized that many of the principles behind those successes are the same principles I believe belong in residential construction: clear expectations, accountability, communication, organization, pride in the work, and responsibility for the outcome.
I felt in my heart that the next thing I was supposed to build was homes — something tangible that people would be proud to move their families into and call their own.
That belief became part of the foundation for Idaho Building Pros.

We're not just building a house.
We're building the place someone will call home.

Experience From The Ground Up.
My construction experience has taken me through multiple stages of the building process — from foundations and concrete flatwork to framing, drywall, low-voltage work, painting, and finishing.

- Painting
- Finishing
I also spent time as a foreman-in-training building pole barns, where my perspective began expanding beyond completing my own scope of work to understanding how people, materials, schedules, and different stages of construction have to come together.
That hands-on background influences the way I look at construction today. Understanding how work is actually performed in the field helps me ask better questions, recognize potential problems, communicate with trades, and pay attention to the details that ultimately affect the finished home.

The View From The Finish Line.
Years of owning and operating Idaho Painting Pros gave me another perspective on construction: the view from the finish line.
Painters often enter a project after nearly every other trade has left its mark. By the time we arrive, the framing, drywall, trim, doors, cabinets, siding, and countless other details have already come together.
I've seen exceptional craftsmanship and tradespeople who genuinely take pride in their work. I've also seen what happens when details are overlooked, communication breaks down, or problems simply get passed to the next trade.
As the finishing contractor, it was often our responsibility to help turn all of those individual pieces into a finished product the customer would be proud to see.
Eventually, I started asking a different question:
If I can recognize these problems at the end,
why can't I help prevent them from the beginning?
That question became part of the foundation for Idaho Building Pros.
Guiding The Whole Project.
Idaho Building Pros represents the next step in that experience. Instead of being responsible for only one part of the finished home, the goal is to bring the right people together, establish clear expectations, coordinate the work, watch the details, communicate with the homeowner, and take responsibility for moving the project forward.
A great home is the result of many skilled people doing their jobs well. Our role is to help those individual efforts come together as one successful project.
The Right People
Strong projects start with capable trade partners and professionals.
Clear Expectations
Everyone should understand the scope, standards, schedule, and responsibilities.
Active Coordination
Trades, materials, decisions, and milestones need to stay connected.
Quality Oversight
Details should be addressed throughout construction — not only at the end.
Communication
The homeowner should understand what is happening and what comes next.
Accountability
When something needs attention, take ownership and work toward the solution.
The Standard Is Simple.
Integrity
Do what we say we'll do and be straightforward when circumstances change.
Quality
Respect the details and take pride in the finished work.
Communication
Keep customers informed and important decisions clear.
Reliability
Be organized, prepared, responsive, and accountable.
Respect
Respect the homeowner, the property, the investment, and the people working on the project.
Your Home. Our Priority.
A home represents far more than materials and square footage. It represents a family's investment, plans, memories, and future. We believe that deserves our attention and respect throughout the entire process.
Craftsmanship You Can See.
Idaho Building Pros also benefits from established painting and finishing experience through our sister company, Idaho Painting Pros.
That experience provides another layer of knowledge around preparation, coatings, finishes, sequencing, and the details customers ultimately see and touch every day.
It's one more perspective we bring to the construction process — and one more reason we pay attention to what happens before the final coat ever goes on.
